-WHAT SHOULD I DO TO PREPARE FOR MY WAX APPOINTMENT?
Refrain from direct sun exposure for at least 24 hours prior to appointment.
Gently exfoliate the area to remove any dead skin cells, and free hairs stuck under the skin.
Refrain from the use of Retinol products and chemical peels.
-WHEN WILL I NEED WAXED AGAIN?
The average person would get waxed every 4 weeks depending on how fast their hair grows. If your hair tends to grow slower, you can wait between 4-6 weeks.
-WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE FOR WAXING?
After your wax appointment, it is very important to follow the aftercare steps to prevent any unwanted reaction. We recommend that you refrain from working out, touching the area, intimate activities, and submerging the skin in any body of water (including a bath). You can shower as soon as you want to, and we even encourage having cold water from the shower to run over the areas. This will help with any redness or inflammation that could occur from waxing. To prevent ingrown hairs, its recommended to start moisturizing and exfoliating 3-5 days after your appointment. Your waxer will recommend what level of exfoliating and moisturizing will best benefit your skin and hair type. Every wax appointment we will reevaluate your skin and update you on any changes that need to be made to your routine.
